# How to add collection banner by metafield?

```
From your shopify store admin –> Click Settings –> Metafields and metaobjects –> Click Collections
```

Click on **“Add definition**” and add data as below

**Name**: Banner Image
**Namespace and Key**: my_fields.banner_image (Must use -**my_fields.banner_image** )
**Content type**:File (Only accepts images )

Now go to product collections, scroll down to “**Metafields**” and upload banner image
