To showcase color swatches on products grid and product page for items in your store, you must assign colors to each product via the store admin panel.
Go to Store Admin –> Products –> Select product –> scroll down to Variants -> click Add options -> choose Color
Color Dark Green is auto retrieved based on product images color. Click on Dark Green to edit color/color code or click on Color to add more product colors
Click on Dark Green to edit current color code.
Click on Color to add more product colors. Add colors from list or click on Add new entry to add new custom color.
After you have added product colors, remember to assign a variant image for each option. You may select from theme settings to show variant image swatches instead of color swatches. Click on the image icon to choose an image, and then click save.
