Banner Images #
Follow below steps to add blog banner for each blog pages.
Step 1:
Go to Store Admin -> Settings -> Metafields and metaobjects-> Blogs -> click “Add definition” then follow the steps as shown in the image below.
To add an image, navigate to the blog pages.
Go to store admin > Blog posts -> Manage Blogs > Click Blog name > then click on the "Show all" link in the bottom metafield box.
Click “Banner Image” field, select image and click save.
Follow the same steps for the mobile banner image if you’d like to show a different image for the mobile site.
Short Description #
Display same banner text for all blog pages #
Go to Theme Customize -> Select Default blog -> Blog Banner(Section). Add block "Text" then add description in text field.
Display different banner text for different blog pages #
Go to Store Admin -> Settings -> Metafields and metaobjects -> Blogs -> click “Add definition”
Follow the steps as shown in the image below.
To add text, navigate to the blog pages.
Go to store admin > Blog posts -> Manage Blogs > Click Blog name
Click on the “Show all” link in the bottom metafield box. Click “Short Description” field, add text and click save. (repeat this step to add text for different blogs banner)
Now, Go to Theme Customize -> Select Default blog -> Blog Banner(Section).
Add block “Text” then click on “dynamic source” button from text field, select short description and click save.
