Rollback custom changes #

If code changes have been made on your store either by you or your developer, There may be possibilities these customization getting conflict with theme code and creating issues on your store.

If you made these changes, you can try revert theme files as guided in Shopify’s roll back code functionality. In Shopify’s template editor, You can see blue circle beside theme templates that have been modified.

If changes have been made by your developer, We recommend you to contact your developer first.

Disable Apps #

If you have recently installed any app, This may be causing an issue. Try disabling it or any other apps you think might be related to the this issue. You can try disabling app one by one and can check theme.

Deleting an app from your app dashboard does not always delete them entirely, you may need to remove code added to the theme’s template files.Contact the app developer or visit their documentation for instruction on how to uninstall the app.

If you find disabling a particular app solve the issue, contact app developer and talk about the issue. They are familiar with their code and have probably dealt with this conflict on other themes as well. Download and Install a fresh copy #

Download a fresh copy of the theme and compare it with your active theme version to see if the problem is also persists on a new install. This can help determine whether the issue is from customization made to template files or not.
